It's always exciting to see our projects progress on site. This contemporary addition in Kew is really starting to take shape now that the framing is up and the brickwork is underway. The image above shows a view from the backyard looking towards the entertaining spaces. The image below shows the transition space defining the old and new. Last year we shared some photos on our website and Facebook page, of a renovation we did for a Californian Bungalow in Hawthorn. This house was in a Heritage Overlay and had a covenant from the 1920s stating that all buildings must have a roof made wholly of slates or tiles and, walls constructed wholly of brick.
